Does anyone know what songbird sounds like a flute that I heard at Acadia?
Thanks for replying.
Acadia NP is home to a number of songbirds with beautiful songs. I’m no expert on bird calls, but here’s a list of common birds found in Acadia NP: http://www.nps.gov/acad/planyourvisit/birdwatching.htm. And this site has audio files on store for tons of birds: http://www.enature.com/birding/audio.asp. Maybe reading through the list of common birds at Acadia and listening to some of the songs will help! I would start with perching birds like warblers or chickadees…
